Their Story

Wynk is an online platform for women who love makeup, but aren’t confident about which products to use or how to apply for the desired effect. Using a filtering method, Wynk generates a customized catalogue of makeup products for each user and bundles purchases into one shipment.

Tan, the marketing professional for Wynk, needed to generate interest in the start-up by explaining the process and benefits of registering and becoming an active user. She also wanted to emphasize to makeup experts that they can earn product by answering questions for users on the platform. Can an explainer video inspire makeup lovers enough to register and begin using the Wynk platform? And will influencers be compelled to participate in forums in exchange for rewards after watching the video?

Their Goal

Attract attention to the start-up from users, influencers, and investors. Create a buzz.

Wynk is a multi-dimensional platform offering advice, customized product recommendations, online shopping, and a virtual reality makeup tool. Tan reached out to wizMotions hoping for an explainer video that could describe the benefits and features of the Wynk platform simply and clearly to both users and influencers.

Tan identified a targeted market and needed a 2D explainer video to speak directly to millennial women who love makeup and want to learn more about products and application. Will the video successfully instill confidence so that young women trust the Wynk suggestions and content? Can a video communicate the benefits of being part of a community of makeup users?

Create a scenario that every woman can relate to and present Wynk as the obvious solution to any makeup issue.

Every woman likes to look and feel their best, so wizMotions designed a video that offers Wynk as a convenient and affordable alternative to expensive makeup artists or time consuming tutorials. Guiding viewers through the unique Wynk process created a buzz for both users and influencers.

Following the launch of the video, the start-up was funded in the amount of $3,000,000, closing out a successful seed round. Investors were able to clearly understand how having a personal makeup concierge benefits millennial women and were happy to jump on board.

Their Story

MiMoodz develops and then crowdfunds innovative, hip products for people who are into tech gadgets. Most of their products focus on making life simpler and “smarter” with smart products. Their most recent product is a Bluetooth adapter that allows users to control their homes’ LED lights from their iPhones.

Robert, one of the founders of MiMoodz, planned to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise production money and gain new, interested customers. How can his product stand out in a sea of new products in Kickstarter? He needed something clever and convincing to raise money for his product and get people excited.

Their Goal

Meet crowdfunding goals, enabling the launch of an innovative “smart” product to tech savvy consumers.

Robert knew from experience how challenging crowdfunding can be with so much competition within the tech product category. He reached out to the creative team at wizMotions looking for a fun whiteboard video that would position his crowdfunding campaign apart from the rest.

MiMoodz products target 30 somethings who are interested in investing in new tech products. The video needed to explain how cool the product is, how simple it is to install, and that crowdfunders will be the first to have it. Can a whiteboard video effectively demonstrate the product and convince potential crowdfunders that it can save them money by reusing their existing LED lights? Will tech savvy investors recognize the potential of this new “smart” product launch?

Design a fun and informative whiteboard video that appeals to the target market while creating excitement for this product as well as MiMoodz products to come.

wizMotions embraced the challenge of elevating MiMoodz’ Kickstarter campaign above the competition. Working together with Robert, they created a story that would communicate the benefits of the new Bluetooth product and motivate potential funders to be part of the campaign.

The whiteboard video attracted the attention that Robert had hoped for and within 20 days of launching the video, 1873 prospects signed up. Robert is confident that a whiteboard video is the perfect marketing tool for launching crowdfunding campaigns.

Their Story

Curaloe is not just another aloe product company. Their aloe plantation, located in Curacao, employs traditional farming methods to cultivate high quality aloe. Skin products are manufactured on the plantation, allowing Curaloe to control the production process from plant to product.

Remco, owner of Curaloe, understands the nuances of producing aloe products and wants to educate potential customers about the Curaloe difference. He would like to establish relationships with other businesses who appreciate a quality, natural product and inform consumers about the mainstream aloe product. Can a revolutionary beauty product company stand out from the rest using an explainer video? How can Curaloe explain their unique selling proposition in a way that attracts customers and distributors?

Their Goal

Educate consumers about aloe product ingredients and demonstrate the difference between Curaloe and typical aloe products.

The Curaloe difference is that aloe products are made with pure aloe vera and not aloe powder. No water is added to Curaloe, as is the case with other common brands. Explaining to B2B clients, retailers, and distributors about the production process, commitment to quality, and benefit to customers is the primary goal.

Remco relied on wizMotions to guide viewers through the plant to product process that occurs on the Caribbean Island of Curacao. Can the purity of the Curaloe product be expressed through an explainer video? Will consumers be convinced of the difference in the Curaloe product and, as a result, become regular customers?

Illustrate the clear choice in pure aloe products by explaining each step of the Curaloe production process so that consumers understand that this is the best aloe product on the market.

Curaloe’s production process was the clear differentiator and wizMotions was excited to demonstrate the uniqueness of the product through an explainer video. The video was an effective way to communicate the unique selling proposition, which led to an increase in business.

Following the launch of the explainer video, cold lead responses increased by 300%. Converting traffic into paying customers increased by 82%. As the result of the video, Curaloe resonates with consumers and an increase in sales is proof.

Their Story

Midwest Life Brokerage is a life insurance brokerage business with a few different entities. FEGLIswap.com is one branch of the business that markets life insurance to government employees. Agents compare the federal employee’s current life insurance plan to the Midwest Life policy and most times, switching to Midwest is the smart choice.

Kris, the owner, was looking for new ways to inform government employees about the FEGLIswap.com program and get them started. But, how can the complicated process of switching life insurance policies be explained in a simple way that shows federal employees that they can save money and buy a better plan? Will an explainer video be enough to motivate federal employees to take action?

Their Goal

Inform federal employees about the benefits of simply applying for a better, less expensive life insurance policy for free.

Kris worked with wizMotions to create a previous explainer video that had a B2B message, but this time, he was directly targeting federal employee clients. He reached out to wizMotions again to create a video that targets middle aged federal employees who currently have a life insurance policy through the government.

Midwest Life Brokerage needed to communicate that by swapping their federal policy for a Midwest policy, federal employees would gain life insurance independence and control, resulting in a more comprehensive and affordable policy. Will federal employees take control of their policies and click through for a free insurance quote?

Our Solution

Provide options to federal employees in a simply explained format that compels them to receive their free quote.

wizMotions was pleased to create a second explainer video for Kris. This video would not be a narrative, like the previous one, but would be a direct, simply stated message that would resonate with federal employees.

The first explainer video took a B2B approach and resulted in Midwest Life Brokerage attracting more than 50 new insurance agencies. Through those new partnerships, B2B sales rose 40% for the year. Following the launch of this video, the agency secured 22 new clients within the first three months translating into nearly $40,000 in additional revenue.

Their Story

EmpoweredAgent.com is a niche payroll company that provides payroll services plus a suite of bonus services for one low price. A platform geared towards Allstate agents, EmpoweredAgent.com understands the unique needs of agents and offers them an opportunity to increase their return on investment from 0% to 641% for no additional costs.

Jeff, the founder of EmpoweredAgent.com, feels confident that if Allstate agents are made aware of the services available to them, switching to EmpoweredAgent.com will be a “no brainer.” How can he deliver a targeted message to Allstate agents that lets them know that he understands the frustrations that they deal with and has a solution? Can Jeff convince 12,000 Allstate agents to expand their business by simply switching payroll companies?

Jeff had the advantage of using Allstate agents and the Allstate internal blog to promote his product. Since he already had a captive audience, he reached out to wizMotions to design a fun and compelling animated video that touches on the pain points experienced by Allstate agents. He also wanted to demonstrate the improved quality of life agents will gain when their business revenue is increased with EmpoweredAgent.com services.

Realizing that agents may not understand the services, may think that switching payroll companies is a hassle, or that the service offerings may be “too good to be true,” Jeff needed to successfully reach and engage the 12,000 Allstate Insurance Company Exclusive Agents. Showing the agents new ways of expanding their businesses was at the core of his success. Will agents be convinced that by simply switching payroll companies, their businesses and lives can improve?
